After graduating from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (International Relations) in 1994, Aziz Murat Hatipagaoglu, PhD, completed his master's degree in Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) and received his PhD in Economics from Gazi University. Dr. Hatipagaoglu has Ankara University ATAUM European Union Expertise Certificate. In 2001, Dr. Hatipagaoglu studied “Marketing in the Japanese Market’ in Japan as a ICA Fellow. On the other hand, he holds “Leadership and Change Management Training” certificate issued by the Adizes Institute. Between 1994 and 1996, he served as the Judge Candidate for the Administrative Judiciary of the Ministry of Justice. In 1996-2010, Dr. Hatipagaoglu served consecutively as Assistant Foreign Trade Expert, Foreign Trade Expert, Branch Manager of the General Directorate of Exports, Head of SME and Cluster Support Department at the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. During his duty, he played an active role in the preparation and implementation of export legislation and export support systems, in particular the Turquality Program. After leaving his position at the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, he provides management consultancy services to important private sector companies and institutions in Turkey. He is also a lecturer at Istanbul Esenyurt University, Department of International Trade. Dr. Hatipagaoglu's areas of expertise include international trade, international economy, international marketing, strategic planning, change management, brand management, business analysis, trade and growth analysis, market entry and growth strategy development, international market analysis, development economics.
